THE ROLE OF HEAD TEACHERS IN IMPRVING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS

Over several years a lot of changes happened to the earth’s environment which increase its damage. That lead many countries to call for an urgent forum in order to prevent and reduce this damage. One of the most principles that play great role in providing needed skills in diagnosing and solving environmental problems are schools head teachers. This research focus on head teachers role in helping and providing schools stakeholders with the awareness and understanding along with building appropriate attitudes toward environmental education. The research reach to the importance for providing schools stakeholders with the need awareness and understanding for protecting the environment through head teachers. The study also concluded to the importance role carried by schools head teachers in providing teachers with concepts, knowledge and skills that enhance their capabilities in developing pupils’ knowledge’s and concepts toward their environment along with motivating the organization as a whole through giving full attention and consideration to the environmental education.
