The Effectiveness of Teaching the Unit (Human Organs) Using Infographics to develop the Health Concepts for Second Intermediate students

The objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching the unit of human body equipment prepared by the nose to develop the health concepts of the second grade students in Makkah Al Mukarramah city, as well as to detect the differences of statistical significance between the average scores of the students of the experimental group and the students of the control group in the post application to test the health concepts The human body is the science course of the second intermediate grade.
In order to achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the semi-experimental method. The study was applied to two samples of second grade students in the intermediate school of Zulbajadin (experimental group) and Tamim al-Dari middle school (control group). The research tools in the teacher guide to teach the unit of human body equipment prepared by the nose, and the testing of health concepts in the human body units for students of the second grade intermediate.
The research reached a number of results, the most prominent of which are:
  • The existence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group students in the post-application to test the health concepts included in the unit of human body organs of science course for the second intermediate grade, in favor of the experimental group.
  • 70.24% of the improvement in the levels of health concepts among the experimental group in the post-application is due to the teaching of the unit using the noseogram.
The study also recommended a number of recommendations, including:
  • Completion of the teaching guide for the use of anophogram in the teaching of the body equipment unit of the science course for the second grade intermediate in the current study to include all units of the science curriculum.
  • The importance of the attention of the faculties of education to train science teachers during the study and those in service on how to apply modern techniques, including the techniques of Infographic in education.
