A proposed vision for establishing the Third Age University for Adults in Egypt in light of the experiences of some countries to achieve the goals of sustainable development

The research aim is to identify the sustainable development goals, dimensions and indicators to define the philosophical principles that underpin the Third Age University and the various and diverse needs of adults to achieve their goals. In addition to presenting the experiences of some countries in establishing the Third Age University, and to know the visions of some leaders of the faculty members of Cairo University in establishing it. The research reached a set of consequences, the most important one is to foster a culture of lifelong learning that supported with the Third Age University, and the merging of the experiences of adults with society, as it is considered the first goal that can be relied in establishing it. Most of the leaders from the faculty members (the research sample) pointed to the necessity of emphasizing the adult category within society, and it's important to provide multiple ways and alternatives for learning, and also important to continuous learning and its impact on sustainable development. Then a proposed vision was presented to establish a third age university for adults in Egypt in light of the experiences of some countries.
