Evaluation social studies and English language curricula of the primary Stage(fourth – fifth and sixth grades) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the light of quality standards

The current research aimed to evaluate social studies and English language curricula of the primary stage in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the light of quality standards.
The study tool was a questionnaire of quality criteria for curricula, consisted of (7) main criteria and (104) indicators. The sample consisted of (200) teachers and educational supervisors specialized in social studies and English language at the primary stage in the Education Administrations of (Arrass - Riyadh - Madinah - Bisha - Jouf - Yanbu), The total number of responses to the questionnaire was (183).
The Study Results:
  1. The degree of quality standards achievement of the social studies curricula in the primary stage was weak. the responses ranged between neutral and strongly disagreeable. The overall percentage for achieving the standards was 59%, the percentage for achieving the standards of the social studies curricula in each row was as follows:
 - Fourth primary grade 56%.
 - Fifth primary grade 60%.
-  Sixth primary grade 61%.
2. The degree of quality standards achievement of the English language curricula in the primary stage was weak. The responses ranged between neutral and strongly disagreeable. The overall percentage for achieving the standards was 57%, the percentage for achieving the standards of the English language curricula in each row was as follows:.
 - Fourth primary grade 52%.
-  Fifth primary grade 58%.
 - Sixth primary grade 62%.
