Attitudes of Students at College of Basic Education in Kuwait Toward Teaching Profession in Relation to Some Variables

This study aimed to identify attitudes of students at College of Basic Education in Kuwait toward teaching profession in relation to some variables. The researchers utilized a close-ended questionnaire, that was derived from Mashkoor (2012) for data collection. The research sample comprised of 613 male and female students, who were chosen randomly. The study findings revealed that the research sample has positive attitudes toward teaching profession. The results also showed that there are no statistical differences between the sample’s attitudes toward teaching profession in one side, and the demographic variables (Nationality, sex, major and stage of study) on the other side. At the end, the researchers suggested a number of recommendations in order to enhance the educational practices, which could improve students’ positive attitudes towards teaching profession.
