Effectiveness of Social Media Networks in Developing Attainment and Some Computer and it Skills for Second Grade Prepatory Pupils

The research problem was represented by the weakness of the level of the second preparatory grade students in the skills of using the computer and information technology, and it is possible to try to overcome this problem by designing a learning environment based on the use of social networking (Facebook), and to achieve this the researcher relied on the descriptive approach and the semi-experimental approach The research sample reached (100) students from the second year of middle school students, and they were divided into two groups, one is experimental, amounting to (50) students, and the other was a control group consisting of (50) students. The measuring tools included an achievement test and a performance evaluation list (note card), and after completion From the application of the research experiment, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of both the cognitive achievement test and the observation card in favor of the experimental group students, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean dimensions of the experimental group of the experimental group for each of the achievement test Knowledge and observation card in favor of telemetry: In light of these results, a set of research recommendations and proposals were presented
