Studies Curriculum for Grades (3-12) in the Sultanate of Oman: An Analytical Study

This study aimed to identify the extent to which the content of social studies curriculum books included for grades (3-12) in the Sultanate of Oman included did the knowledge economy skills through the list of knowledge economy skills that were built and assessed  by the Delphi method over three consecutive rounds, and the final list consisted Out of five general skills, they are: basic knowledge skills, digital skills, knowledge production skills, professional and life skills followed by a set of basic and then sub-skills,  the study was applied to the  simple content of )20( books of social studies curriculum  for grades (3-12)  for the first and second semesters  at the level of the three academic stages, and the  results showed  that the highest degree of inclusion of knowledge economy skills were in  basic knowledge skills in the content of all of the curriculum books, and the inclusive of  knowledge economy skills were included as questions and texts to a greater degree than including them in illustrations, tables and maps, and that the second episode of the basic education stage for grades (5-10) is the most inclusive stage of knowledge economy skills, and the study recommended the necessity of including knowledge economy skills in all the level of the three stages, and updated  of the  inclusion are constantly  in line with the latest developments and changes, and conducting more renewable and continuous research.
