The Role of Faculty Members in aActivating Knowledge Economy for Female Students of the College of Basic Education from Female Students’ Point of View

Abstract:
Abstract: The study aimed to identify the role of faculty members in activating knowledge economy for female students of the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait from female students’ point of view, and the effect of some variables on that. The study followed the descriptive approach, and the sample consisted of (836) students, on whom a questionnaire was applied consisting of (32) statements distributed on four axes. The results showed that the role of faculty members in activating knowledge economy as a whole for female students is average, and the axes came in the following order: The role of faculty members in activating the dissemination and exchange of knowledge came in the first order, followed by their role in activating the possession and storage of knowledge, then their role in activating technology, and finally The role of faculty members in activating knowledge production. The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of study sample on the role of faculty members in activating knowledge production, spreading and exchanging knowledge, possessing and storing knowledge due to specialization variable, while there are no differences about their role in activating technology. The results showed that there are differences on all axes due to academic year variable, and there are differences about the role of faculty members in activating the production of knowledge, and the dissemination and exchange of knowledge due to GPA variable, while there are no differences about their role in activating the possession and storage of knowledge, and the activation of technology.
