Family Climate as a median variable in the relationship between Moral Thinking and Attitude towards Intellectual Extremism among a sample of female students in King Khalid University

  
            The study aimed to identify Family Climate and its relationship to both Moral Thinking and Attitude towards Intellectual Extremism among a sample of female students in King Khalid University. The study was applied on (250) female students from various scientific and literary specialties. The following measures were applied: Family Climate; prepared by Afraa Ibrahim Khalil (2006), Moral Thinking measure; prepared by Tamer Ahmed Hassan (2014), and Attitude towards Intellectual Extremism measure; prepared by Mohammad Abu Dawaba (2012). After using suitable statistical methods to check the validity of study hypotheses, the study yielded the following results: There is a high level of moral thinking among the study sample, there is a moderate level of attitude towards intellectual extremism level among the study sample. Moreover, there is a positive statistically significant relationship between family climate and moral thinking among the study sample, and a positive statistically significant relationship between family climate and attitude towards intellectual extremism among the study sample. Also, there is a negative statistically significant relationship between moral thinking and attitude towards intellectual extremism among the study sample. There are no statistically significant differences between female students according to family climate, or moral thinking, or attitude towards intellectual extremism because of specialty variable (scientific or literary). Moreover, the correlation degree between moral thinking and attitude towards intellectual extremism changed after statistical insulation of family climate.
